Day of Green Action for Hillary
Thank you for your willingness to create and grow this “Day of Action” throughout the clean energy, environment and conservation community. While there is precious little time to ramp up this effort, it is growing quickly across the country. First, here are the details for the 7 events:
We have locations for the canvass launch set for the 7 cities. In each location, we have one or more League of Conservation Voter organizers on the ground supporting us. On the day of the event LCV and Campaign staff will be in each of these locations with folders for each volunteer that include all canvassing details. Close coordination with the campaign means that all the volunteers will be meeting potential voters that the campaign deems critical to Get Out The Vote efforts during the last two weeks of the campaign.
Denver: 1465 Dayton St, Aurora CO 80010 (starts at 9 am) - canvassing in CO to support Hillary Clinton, Morgan Carroll, and Sen. Michael Bennet
Reno: 1465 Terminal Way, Reno, NV, 89502 (starts at 8:30 am)
Las Vegas: 7920 W Tropical Parkway, Las Vegas, 89149 (starts at 8:30 am)

LCV has provided us with a link to share with event participants. You can copy and paste this into emails to help recruit: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WQH8XGR. Additionally, we are including two sample emails that you can use as your share this event with your networks.
All of these locations will be able to accommodate a speaker to kick off the canvass and then get volunteers the materials needed to head out and canvass. We will be discussing potential speakers during our calls next week. If you have ideas, please come ready to share them.
Finally, we will be able to share the list of people who sign up for each city via. This will be important so folks can be confirmed for the events. We will need to have a head count for each city by 10/27 to ensure there is enough notice to prep materials for canvassers. We assume all individual participants will be handling their own transportation/housing, but we should discuss how we can support these efforts during our calls next week (ex: there are buses leaving every Friday and Saturday from NYC to Philadelphia, so we may want to share that information with our volunteers).
